Building Aspiring and Under-served Societies through Education and Advancement
BAUSEA develops networks, programs and technology-enabled initiatives that connect people, institutions and communities to education, research, innovation and economic participation.
Figures reflect indexed and mapped records in BAUSEA's directories. Participation and partnership counts are reported separately in the impact dashboard.
BAUSEA is a public-benefit nonprofit that builds the infrastructure aspiring and under-served communities need to reach education, research, innovation and economic opportunity. Its initiatives operate as distinct networks under shared governance, data and technology.
Most organizations deliver a service and stop. BAUSEA builds the connective layer underneath — directories, networks, data, programs and partnerships that other institutions can plug into. HBCU Network, Texas Markets and BAUSEA Magazine are three instances of one model, not three unrelated projects.
To expand access for aspiring and under-served societies by building durable networks, programs and technology that connect people and institutions to education and advancement.
Communities and institutions historically left outside the systems of opportunity become full participants in them, with the data, partnerships and infrastructure to stay there.
Our model is deliberate and repeatable.
